Roger Evans

Business Leadership Coach

Roger came into coaching with an extensive international leadership background.

He is now an experienced Business Leadership Coach who has spent more than 20 years coaching executives, high-potentials and teams across Europe. He has coached individuals and teams from 19 different nationalities working in 32 business sectors.

In his previous role as Director of Coaching for DBM, he was responsible for  managing and developing a team of European coaches as well as designing coaching interventions that have been deployed globally.

Roger has a strong business-focussed approach to coaching, challenging individuals and teams to identify, prioritise and develop those aspects of their leadership that will have optimum impact on their business performance. He believes that one of the greatest benefits that coaching can bring to his clients is significantly enhanced self-awareness, which allows sustained behavioural change well after the coaching is complete.

He typically works with individuals and teams who are challenged with achieving demanding and vital business goals and also supports organizations in accelerating the development of identified high-potential emerging leaders, most often as they move into new and challenging roles.

His work focuses on:

  • Executive Coaching
  • High-Potential Coaching
  • Team Coaching

He started his coaching career after having spent 18 years in leadership positions in the technology and professional services industries.  Immediately prior to moving into coaching, Roger served as Chief Executive of one of the UK’s leading technology and financial services executive search firms, which was then acquired by a US based global public company.

He had joined the services sector following 12 years of extensive international experience in the software industry, culminating in the role of Senior Vice President, International Operations at Dun & Bradstreet Software, the enterprise solutions provider, where he ran operations with over 350 employees and revenues of $100million from direct and indirect channels across Europe and Asia Pacific. His responsibilities included sales, marketing, professional services, customer support, finance and human resources.

In his early career Roger worked for KPMG in the Far East.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has lived and worked in London, Hong Kong and Sydney.
